Project Description

Schools in rural Peru have disadvantages: a teacher has to teach various grades simultaneously, children are malnourished and have health problems, and their homes do not have basic services. Therefore the project will work holistically in four areas: parents' instruction, teacher training, improving educational infrastructure and job training and productivity.

FyA rural schools must train students to improve their capabilities and efficiently enter the productive life of their community, while preserving their traditional practices and incorporating modern technology with responsible management. To that end, it seeks to consolidate the effort that has been developed in the networks through the implementation of Agro Ecological Systems School, as well as workshops for garment industry and carpentry.
